Provide First Aid - eLearning with practical assessment Course

This course will provide you with the ability to recognise basic signs and symptoms of various illnesses and injury and subsequent provision of appropriate treatment or assistance.
A First Aid training Course and Statement of Attainment (HLTAID0011 Provide First Aid, HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from Royal Life Saving is recognised as a pre-requisite for employment and considered a mandatory requirement by the Aquatic and Recreation Industry and workplaces
Successful candidates will receive a:
- Royal Life Saving First Aid certificate (valid for 3 years – Resuscitation component valid for 12 months)
Statement of Attainment for Units of Competency from the HLT Health Training Package:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Completion Timeframe
We require the eLearning and online assessment to be completed prior to attending the practical course session. All eLearning and online assessments must be completed within 28 days after the practical course session.

Prerequisites
There is no prior learning required for the full course. It is recommended that candidates are 14 in the calendar year they attempt the course.

- Resuscitation (2 minutes of CPR on the ground - Adult; 2 minutes of CPR at table height - infant)
